Equipment & Parts Coordinator (Hands-On) – Inventory & Warehouse Operations
Location: 15475 South LaSalle Street, South Holland, IL 60473
Gurtler Industries, a stable, family-owned leader in commercial laundry chemical systems and equipment, is seeking a hands-on Equipment & Parts Coordinator to support our team.
This is not a desk-only inventory role.
This position plays a critical role in keeping our operations running by managing equipment, parts, purchasing, and shipping, while also working directly with physical inventory, staging equipment, and supporting field service needs. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both in an office setting and on the shop floor.

What You’ll Do:
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate equipment and parts inventory (no discrepancies or negative inventory)
Establish and manage cycle counts and stock accuracy processes
Utilize MRP/ERP systems (Acumatica or similar) to:
Set reorder points
Maintain minimum stocking levels
Manage bin locations and part organization
Ensure all parts are labeled, tracked, and properly stored
Purchasing
Generate and manage purchase orders using MRP/ERP systems
Coordinate vendor ordering and ensure best pricing
Verify PO accuracy and match invoices to received goods
Ensure timely receipt of materials to support operations
Shipping & Coordination
Prepare Bills of Lading and pick tickets for outgoing equipment
Coordinate shipment timing with freight and field service teams
Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery to job sites
Review quality control documentation prior to shipment
Equipment Handling & Organization
Stage equipment for upcoming projects
Maintain organized areas for inventory, staging, returns, and testing
Process returned equipment (restock, rebuild, scrap, etc.)
Identify opportunities to improve workflow, organization, and space utilization
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who:
Is comfortable working with mechanical, plumbing, or electrical components
Enjoys being both in the office and on the shop floor
Has experience working with physical products, equipment, or parts
Is detail-oriented but understands real-world operations
Communicates effectively with technicians, operations teams, and vendors
Required Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
Basic understanding of mechanical, plumbing, or electrical components
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tables, formulas, tracking)
Experience using Outlook and general business systems
Strong communication skills (written and verbal English)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Acumatica preferred)
Experience in:
Equipment, parts, or industrial inventory environments
Warehouse, manufacturing, or service-based operations
Purchasing, shipping, or logistics coordination experience
Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, reporting, data analysis)

Prefer working only in spreadsheets rather than in a hands-on environment
Compensation & Benefits:
$50,000 – $60,000 annually

Digital Marketing Coordinator

Gurtler Industries is seeking a multi-faceted Digital Marketing Coordinator to lead and execute our marketing and digital communications efforts. This role is a key contributor to maintaining brand consistency, supporting business growth initiatives, and strengthening customer engagement across multiple channels.
This position is ideal for a hands-on marketing professional who enjoys balancing strategy with execution and thrives in a collaborative, evolving environment.
What You’ll Do:
Manage and update website content and overall digital presence
Coordinate with external vendors including website developers, designers, and marketing partners
Support marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and communications efforts
Develop content such as press releases, newsletters, and technical marketing materials
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, R&D, Leadership) to support business initiatives
Interface with industry associations and publications for PR and advertising opportunities
What You’ll Focus on in Your First 6 Months:
Transition knowledge and responsibilities from a long-tenured team member
Develop a strong understanding of Gurtler’s products, services, and industries
Manage coordination of website and digital communication efforts
Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Establish structure and consistency in marketing processes
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
4–6 years of experience in marketing and/or digital communications roles
Experience in B2B marketing, ideally in industrial or manufacturing environments
Strong written communication skills (marketing content, press releases, technical writing)
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, customer-friendly messaging
Highly organized with strong project management skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
Preferred:
Experience managing external vendors and partners
Familiarity with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools
Ideal Candidate:
A self-sufficient, hands-on marketing professional
Comfortable in a less structured, evolving environment
Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally
Motivated to take ownership and drive projects forward
Tools & Technology:
